DESCRIPTION An award winner, Act Up for Mental Health is a theatre company made up of mental health service users, their carers and volunteers from the community. The group create a range of theatre pieces based on their experiences.
SERVICES Act Up offer a range of theatre performances based on a range of mental health issues. Performances can also contain educational workshops. The group will consider commisions on a range of mental health issues.Currently the group offers: A general mental health training package, ' The Cloakroom', a specially designed piece on mental health issues for secondary school children and an employment package, looking at employment and mental health.

SERVICES A crisis respite house for four people as an alternative to hospital admission. It is staffed mainly by users/ex-users and the ethos is one of self-help. Home treatment provides medical back-up to the service.
