DESCRIPTION Founded in 1995 by two users of mental health services, through researching and developing methods of using theatre, integrated art forms, creative expression and personal history as a dynamic tool for effecting change. Now supporting three full-time workers, we work with all ages and abilities to challenge myths and prejudices, and specialise in disadvantaged groups who are often excluded from mainstream society
SERVICES Training: staff development(teachers, health professionals, corporate sector); working through our methods in theatre, voice, dance, music, art; dealing with difficult people; developing confidence in front of others/presentation skills.Performances eg "Strong at the Broken Places" (commissioned by MIND), "It's My Life" (for young people)Workshops: on-going projects with mental health users, young people at risk of offending and people with mental and physical disability, sometimes leading to their own performance.
