Bridges to work: provides vocational training in I.t or woodwork, work experience, employment preparation and support in work, and is designed to help people recover self esteem and self confidence and to develop the neccesary social and vocational skills for work. Bridges to Education: provides one to one advice and support to help people access educational opportunities through discrete courses and in local colleges.The primary objective is to encourage people to rebuild their self confidence and self esteem; the sympathetic environment of the Moulsham Mill business and craft centre aids this process. MILLRACE 1 concentrates on furniture repair and restoration; MILLRACE 3 provides training in information technology skills. Both lead to NVQs and to paid employment when the client's condition allows. |
