In 2001 the University of York's Social Policy Research Unit carried out a survey for the Department of Work and Pensions which analysed data for 2520 disability focussed employment projects. 937 of these cater for people with mental health problems (or another disability). 1538 of them cater for mental health problems or with learning difficulties. The remaining 982 projects focus on other disabilities.
